About
Vishnia Foundation
Vishnia Foundation is building a public platform for the big questions of space exploration. We teach its history through the coins that recorded it, with lessons for schools, public lectures, themed exhibitions and learning materials in several languages.
Vishnia Foundation is a Texas nonprofit founded in 2026 around a private collection of coins that record the history of space exploration: the spacecraft and rockets, the scientists and designers who built them, the missions and dates people remember, and the way space has been pictured in fiction.
A collection like this usually stays in private hands. We are opening it to the public and using it to teach, so that schoolchildren, students and families can study the history of space exploration through the objects that recorded it.
Coins about space were issued in more than a hundred countries. That makes the subject one that many nations share, and lets the same collection bring together people who would otherwise have little in common. Our materials are prepared in several languages for the same reason.
The foundation is based in Austin, Texas. We are preparing a space for exhibitions in the Houston area, where our programs will start.
Who we serve
