We are preparing lessons for school classes that use the coins as a starting point: who launched a spacecraft, how a rocket works, why a mission mattered, and why a country chose to mark it on a coin. Each lesson is built so that a teacher can connect it to what the class is already studying.
Guided tours of the collection follow the same idea. A guide walks a class through one theme, such as spacecraft and rockets or the scientists and designers behind them, so that students follow a story rather than a list of dates.
